Privacy Notice for This Survey

We take your privacy seriously, but we also don't believe in making this complicated. Here's the plain version.

This notice covers only the information you share by taking this survey. It isn't a general privacy policy for our future insurance business; we'll have a separate one of those once the product actually launches.

What we collect

Your email address and zip code, your answers to the survey questions, including anything you write in the free text boxes, a few details about you, like your gender, age range and household income range, and, if you ask for a quote, your name and some basic details about your pet, like species, breed, age, sex, and location. We also collect some basic technical data, like how you moved through the survey, so we can see where people get confused or drop off. We're not using this to track you around the internet.

What we do with it

We use it to understand what pet owners think of this product idea, to help us improve it, to build our list of people who want to hear when it launches, and to follow up with you about that. If you forward the survey to a friend yourself, we don't collect anything about them just from that, we only see how many people click the link you shared. If they go on to take the survey themselves, we'll save whatever they choose to share with us then, the same as with any other respondent.

What we share

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it individually with anyone outside our team. If we ever share what we learn from this survey with partners, investors, or the public, it's in aggregate form or as an unattributed quote, never tied to your name or contact information.
